Themba joined South African Tourism in September 2019 as Chief Marketing Officer. He is responsible for defining, establishing and driving the South African Tourism brand in the domestic, regional and global markets as well as driving the overall marketing effort in order to achieve the economic outcomes required of the tourism sector from the National Development Plan (NDP).
A seasoned professional with entrepreneurial flair, Themba has held senior marketing executive positions in blue chip companies like Unilever, Coca-Cola, MTN, Cell C and Telkom among others. He also has aviation and tourism experience, having held executive positions at South African Tourism (2003-2006), Airports Company South Africa and South African Airways where he was prior to joining South African Tourism.A lawyer by training, Themba holds a Bachelor of Arts Law degree, masters certificates in marketing and organizational behaviour, as well as a certificate in Digital Marketing. Themba serves on the board of the Marketing Association of South Africa.

Andile Khumalo is a seasoned entrepreneur and Chartered Accountant (SA) with 20 years of finance and business experience.
He is Founder & CEO of KhumaloCo, which invests in growth companies operating in Technology, Media and Financial Services. A Deloitte trainee and former investment banker with Investec, Andile joined MSG Afrika in 2007 and spent 11 years as a shareholder and COO of the media & communications group, and exited in early 2018 to start KhumaloCo.
Andile serves as Chairman of investee companies Ince, Brave Group, Quizzical Pictures, Immersion Group and founder of I AM AN ENTREPRENEUR.
Andile’s other current non-executive roles include serving as a non-executive Chairman of the South African National Parks (SANParks) Investment Committee; a Board member of the Mentor-A-Boy-Child NPO; as well as a fellow of The Centre for African Management and Markets (CAMM) at The Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS).

She currently runs a Content and Production company alongside Locations Africa, builds marketing and digital strategies for content promotion and is the co-founder of www.bozapix.com the stock footage and imagery website for African imagery.
Azania facilitates local and international filmmakers to shoot across the continent. Her driving aim is to position Africa as a key destination for Content production and distribution of African content.

Kevin “KJ” Jennings, the former head of one of New Zealand’s regional film commissions and AFCI Board Chair from 2016-2019 has returned to the organization as AFCI President.
He takes the helm after serving for 13 years as executive manager of Film Otago Southland in New Zealand, where he helped raise the country’s profile as an international filming destination and make entertainment production a major contributor to the nation’s economy. Notable projects that filmed in Jenning’s region in recent years include big-budget studio features like Mulan, Mission: Impossible – Fallout and The Hobbit.
Under Jennings’ leadership, Film Otago Southland earned the 2019 “Outstanding Film Commission” award from the Location Managers Guild International.

A Sales & Marketing professional with over 20 years of experience in advertising sales within the film, tv & commercials industry. Currently she is working as new business and sales manager at the London based publishing house Boutique Editions. Integral in planning and implementing promotion strategies on publications – Location International Magazine and Lions Daily News, official publishing partner at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. Formerly also consulted for the Cannes Lions Festival where she was responsible for client care.
She has also consulted for the well-respected publication International Film Guide, responsible for new business partnerships, sponsorships with film commissions and film festivals worldwide. She has been a member of the jury and critic at film festivals in India.
Lisa has co-founded Hero Productions Belgrade – a full production service company specialising in delivering a high-quality service in all aspects of productions. Working with feature films, TV series, commercials, music video, documentaries and photo shoots.
Lisa also owns and runs Lisa Ray Represents whereby she is responsible for promoting clients from various industries and currently has 2 projects in the pipeline – a feature film and a docu-series (more to follow).

He is the chairman and originator of the Official South African Casting Association (OSCASA), He works to improve and sustain the industry whilst still performing occasionally in front of camera. Thandeka Zwana joined the film Industry in 2004, working in production at DV8 Films on films such as Max and Mona, The Flyer and Bunny Chow. She then worked as a line producer for a number of film and television projects, most notably the Pan African series Imagine Africa and the award winning documentary feature Robert Sobukwe: A Great Soul.
After doing a course in script editing, Thandeka joined the National Film and Video Foundation, developing and promoting South African films, both locally and internationally, including box office favourites Hard To Get, Happiness is a Four Letter Word, Keeping Up With The Kandasamys and Five Fingers for Marseilles.
She has also worked in film completion bonding with Film Finances Incorporated, and in 2018, joined Indigenous Film Distribution to complete her journey through the film value chain, giving her first-hand experience in development, financing, production and distribution.
