Lethepu Matshaba

Lethepu is a seasoned Business Leader. Her diverse career started at Unilever and involved multiple brand leadership roles, international assignments as well as a secondment to the International Marketing Council of South Africa to help create the brand positioning for the country. 
With some of her key strengths such as Business, Project and Team Leadership, she joined the FIFA 2010 World Cup Organizing Committee in 2007 as the Head of Marketing Operations. The role entailed impeccable delivery of the World Cup Operations & enthusing South Africans to rally behind the event whilst creating a legacy.
Following this assignment, she established her own Marketing and Strategy consultancy and worked with a variety of Blue-Chip organisations, Government ministries and associated agencies. She made the famous “U-Turn” and returned to Unilever in 2014 as Personal Care Marketing Director before being appointed in 2017 as Vice President: Home Care Southern Africa and currently holds the position as Vice President, Home care Africa.
Lethepu Holds a BSc Degree from Rhodes University and a Masters in Business Leadership from the University of South Africa.
