AS THE YEAR ENDS!

We are taking the last steps toward the end of the year and what a phenomenal year it has been for us. 

We have run training programs across South Africa upskilling practitioners to become Location Scouts and managers, we have empowered tour operators with practical tools on how to facilitate  hospitality and how to maximise their marketing through film work. We have travelled and represented at various festivals and markets, Cannes Int. film Festival, Kalasha Int. Film Festival, Durban Film Mart, Garden Route Film Festival, MIP Africa, Eastern Cape Film Festival and many more. December we end it off at FOCUS  Locations Expo in London, UK showcasing our facilitation agency and our sister entity Bozapix.com a Stock footage web portal hosting authentic African imagery and footage for creative content production.

We also launched the African Film Commissions Network, a strategic network of film authorities across Africa and the biggest event for us, we held our 3rd annual Conference unpacking the best Africa has to offer w.r.t locations, facilities and crew, discussing all aspects of shooting on location from safety, to hospitality to story location context, locations strategy and more on the value chain of the locations industry. 

2023 will be a bigger and more productive year as we have lined up from January a feast of activity promoting Africa as a filming destination of preference. 

January sees our partnership with the Joburg Film Festival come to life, February our training program kicks off again, March we work with more tour operators, March to August you will see us at more film festivals and markets we you may even see a content show come to your screens …shhhh!  

To end it all off with a massive bang, we will hold our 4th annual  Locations Conference and expo in October and invite the world to come exhibit their locations, come spend the week with us as we showcase Africa to the world and bring the world to Africa…and see how you too can benefit from promoting co-productions.
